This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
abougt the scanner. you could be lucky and it could be connectivity, or software issue. even if it worked before , especially if youre running windows. even more if vista.annoying but easily resolved by reinstalling butalso check the cable .I know this sounds elementary and your not stupid . but cables come loose more often than you would think. also look for kinks or other damage having to switch the cable is annoying if yoiu dont have a spare on hand but its the cheap fix. also cables ,all though fairly rarely, do go bad . either they short somehow , or were defective and waiting to go. those are the easy fixs and good news. the bad news: hard ware failure. :1. contoller ,its prbably not this as most controllers handle multiples of devices and youwould notice if other devices werent working. this nots so bad if its an independent controller amd also reasonably cheap.if its resident on the mother board you still be able to dothis 9 times out of ten. 2. scanner crapped out . most scanners (and most devices )arent worth the cost and time to fix most the time. Its both faster and cheaper to replacece them. if its still under warranty youre golden .even if your not , if you can diagnose what the problem is the manufacturer (and this varies) still might replace it . I had an western digital 4GB drive that I kept in the spare machine and it died on POST(power up self test). it was an obvious manufacture defect and not end of life for an old device. So they exchanged with it a remaufactured drive . in any case if its the scanner proper your probably looking at replacing it .
Thank you very much for your help. Unfortunately it's old, and I've checked everything so it's probably just dead now. I am thinking about getting new one within the next couple of months when I upgrade to a better computer. Thank you very much for your help^_^ *hug*
